About this product

PRBLEM Cron Health is a lightweight XenForo diagnostic tool that helps administrators understand whether scheduled tasks and background jobs are running as expected.

It checks XenForo cron activity, overdue scheduled tasks, the background job queue, retry activity and job-trigger configuration from a single Admin CP screen.

Cron Health is designed as a diagnostic tool rather than a repair tool. It does not silently modify, delete or rebuild scheduled tasks or queued jobs.

When attention is required, it explains what was detected and helps you identify where to investigate next.

What this tool never does

  • Cron Health is intentionally conservative.
  • It does not automatically delete cron entries.
  • It does not delete queued jobs.
  • It does not rewrite XenForo job data.
  • It does not automatically repair or rebuild the job queue.
  • It does not alter third-party add-on scheduled tasks.
  • Disabled cron entries are not treated as failures simply because they are disabled.
  • Diagnostic scans do not make external network requests.
  • Manual Run now actions use XenForo's own scheduled-task execution mechanism.

Installation

  1. Download the PRBLEM Cron Health ZIP package.
  2. Open XenForo Admin CP.
  3. Go to Add-ons → Install/upgrade from archive.
  4. Upload prblem-cron-health-v1.0.0.zip.
  5. Complete the XenForo installation process.
  6. Open Tools → Cron Health.
  7. No additional configuration, API key or license activation is required.

After installation, open:Admin CP → Tools → Cron HealthThe dashboard automatically evaluates the current XenForo cron and background-job state.Use Run Health Check to refresh the diagnostic results.For individual scheduled tasks, Run now uses XenForo's native cron execution mechanism.No shortcode or template modification is required.
